- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I hadn't been to the dentist since I was 12...I'm 36. I had so many fears about the dentist that it made me physically I'll to think about going. Still had wisdom teeth, had several teeth that had broken at the gum line, and a few cavities that needed work. I went for my free consultation, worrying that I was so far wrecked that I would need dentures and they would cringe. My back teeth looked like something you would find on a dental poster. When I went, they made me feel safe and understood my fear. A week later, I had 12 teeth pulled, some old fillings revamped, impressions and a cleaning while I was under sedation. I love these people. Dr. Donaldson was gentle, helped me laugh through nerves, and generally put me at peace. Today, I pick up my partial, which has taken a long time, but knowing that they want it to fit right doesn't make the wait seem worthless. I haven't needed sedation since, or anything to cause me to panic when they inspect my teeth. Anyone looking for a dentist when they are terrified? Go here.February 08, 2017by Kristi Ann McFerron
