  The only reason I gave it a one star rating is they don't offer minus stars. After my wife lost her leg below the knee this was the closest place we could find. She had already lost one leg and had a prosthetic leg and she was there to strengthen her leg to make it easier to stand and walk when she got her other leg. I would come in around 2pm and stay till around 10pm I showed up early one day and she was out of the room so I ask where she was and they said she was in therapy I said why didn't they take her leg and they said they didn't no she had one. The only reason she was there was to work on that leg. After complaining to them they tried to use her leg after a week I came in early again and her leg was in the room so I ask them again and they said it keeps falling off, A prosthetic leg works like chinese handcuffs So I had to train them on how it works. Buy now we had wasted three weeks a week later they took her off all medication she was in a tremendous amount of pain and could not sleep she was also coughing a lot and I ask them for a chest x-ray and they called me at 2am and told me she had double pneumonia them they called me again a 8am and told me she has been falling asleep and couldn't work with therapy so she had to either go home or I could pay $300 a day. I ask them if they voiced concerns with the doctor. They said no that the doctor didn't have anything to do with therapy and I said the doctor took her off methadone cold turkey that is the same thing as being on heroin you have to gradually take them off not all at once. They refused to talk with the doctor and forced me to take her home. They forced her into such a deep depression that she quit dialysis and died 11 days latter. They poor decisions they made KILLED my wife. So if you hate your mother in law take her here.

  My grandma has been admitted to Eastgatespring several times over the last year and the staff has taken such good care of her every visit. The latest visit, she returned to Eastgatespring to rehab her broken femur - the therapists were so friendly and kind. She LOVED getting her hair done at the salon and enjoyed all the activities available for the residents. We were able to bring the whole family in around Christmas time so we could celebrate with her and the staff was nothing but helpful and accommodating. During her time at Eastgatespring, there was never a concern about her level of care, like there were at other places. If we didn't get a chance to visit, we could call the nurses and get updates without question. The nurses and staff seem to really care for their patients and I'm glad my grandma and our family has had such a great experience with Eastgatespring!
